Nightingale Training Center
The Nightingale Training Center can be used for clinical and non-clinical learners. The training center features simulation rooms for learners to practice skills and procedures, a heart code room, computer training labs, and the health occupations classroom. The Nightingale Training Center has contemporary technology available to help facilitate the needs of all different types of learners. Whether you are looking to attend an engaging learning experience, design quality simulation events, or seek clinical simulation examples to meet a practice gap, Sarah Bush Lincoln is here to provide a variety of educational opportunities for you. A Patient Simulation Room that is a replica of the patient rooms used in the inpatient care areas.

Multidisciplinary Bays that can be made to mimic many different patient care areas, including inpatient units, Intensive Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, Emergency Care, Behavioral Health, Womens and Childrens, Labor and Delivery, Surgery, and Outpatient Clinic Settings.

Training room that is available to clinical and non-clinical learners. There are many different ways that the training room can be available to our non-clinical learners, whether you have to have a hard conversation with an employee or you just need some training on phone etiquette we will be able to accommodate you in so many different ways.

Mannequins that can help to offer various learning opportunities. With the growing complexity of health care, our high-fidelity mannequins allow learners to practice skills and procedures in a realistic, but safe environment. During these simulations, immediate feedback can be provided to further facilitate learning.

Other mannequins that are available include a Nursing Anne (adult female) simulator, a pediatric patient simulator, and a Sim mother that can actually deliver a baby during a complicated or uncomplicated birth.

Each room has a computer to document in Cerner, monitor to display telemetry and vital signs, and functioning head wall that offers oxygen and suctioning. We also have a portable head wall that can be used for off-site training.

Also available for use are multiple IV practice arms, Trach/NG Heads, portable CPR mannequins, a pediatric and adult crash cart, ultrasound machine, Port chest, and so much more!
