Don Sol Mexican Grill recently donated $1,353 to Sarah Bush Lincoln’s Regional Cancer Center after hosting its sixth “Piensa Rosa! Think Pink!” event in support of breast cancer awareness. Restaurant owners, Rene and Amanda Perdomo, raised money by donating 10 percent of sales on October 25 to help care for people who are fighting cancer.

“This event is very near and dear to us because it gives us the opportunity to help people who are fighting cancer,” Amanda Perdomo said. The event was especially meaningful to Don Sol staff members because many have family members and friends who have suffered from cancer. In six years, Don Sol’s “Piensa Rosa! Think Pink!” event has donated more than $8,000 to the SBL Regional Cancer Center.
