Charleston and Mattoon girls’ high school soccer teams hosted their seventh ‘KICK IT FOR A CURE’ soccer game on May 1, as part of a fundraiser to support Sarah Bush Lincoln’s Regional Cancer Center.

The event, which generated funds through t-shirt sales, raised $2,660. Added to their previous donations, starting in 2012, the Charleston and Mattoon girls’ soccer teams have raised more than $19,370 to support those fighting cancer in our communities.
