For the first time since 2019, the Sarah Bush Lincoln Holiday Festival will be held in the Lumpkin Education Center on the hospital’s main campus.
Community members can enjoy a variety of events and activities during the Festival to support some of SBL’s greatest needs, such as Behavioral Health Services, the Children’s Dental Program and the Peace Meal Senior Program.
“We are excited to once again host the Holiday Festival here on SBL’s campus and offer the community a fun way to kick off the holiday season,” SBL Special Events Officer Kim Lockart said. “The services that benefit from the Holiday Festival provide crucial care across the region, so we are grateful to everyone who participates during the week.”
An Online Auction kicks off the Festival, starting at 8 am, Wednesday, November 13. More than 80 items, designed by SBL employees, area residents and businesses are available. Items include holiday-themed wooden trees, fresh greens from Hager Tree Farm, and more. The Online Auction ends at 8 pm, Monday, November 18.
Friends’ Night Out returns from 5 to 7 pm, Thursday, November 14 in the Lumpkin Education Center, Entrance C, on the north side of campus. For $10, people can enjoy a signature drink and get an exclusive preview of everything the Festival has to offer. The SBL Gift Shop’s Pop-Up Holiday Boutique will also be open.
From 10 am to 8 pm, Friday, November 15, community members can explore the Festival’s offerings, including Online and Live Auction items, and the SBL Gift Shop’s Pop-Up Holiday Boutique in the Lumpkin Education Center. And Santa arrives at 3 pm Friday! Don’t miss your chance to have a picture taken with Santa during Cookies with Claus, from 3 to 8 pm, Friday.
Rounding out the weekend is the Gala and Live Auction, starting with a cocktail hour at 5:30 pm on Saturday, November 16. The Gala and Live Auction begin at 7 pm, featuring 30 elite items.
Tickets for the Gala and Live Auction are sold out, but tickets for Friends’ Night Out are still available. Holiday Festival T-shirts are also available, and if you cannot attend any event but want to support SBL, donations are appreciated.
